Doug has advised that he'll be in NYC from June 12th to the 19th. When I asked if he would be willing to meet with his fans local forum members, he said:

>I think the sensible option would be just to get a few UMSF'ers and their other halves and meet
>up for dinner somewhere. We've been penciling in what we plan to do - and apart from the
>night of the 16th and 17th, we're fairly flexible. How about the Sat night?

Sounds like a great idea to me, and Saturday June 14 looks good for my schedule, if it's not too late.

Anyone else interested?

Me and Helen are on - we've cleared Sat night - our hotel is basically outside Bryant Park - Sat daytime we're doing Lower Manhattan but anything after about 6pm is great for us. - we could meet in the foyer of the hotel ( Marriot Residence Inn ) but I'll leave it to you guys to pick an actual venue and get a reservation if required smile.gif

I owe Greg a beer. To be fair - he may be flying across a whole continent, but we're covering 3566 miles to his 2407.
