The Lunar Photo of the Day (LPOD) web site, which publishes a commented lunar image each day, is apparently losing a lot of visitors. There was a significant drop a few months ago, after the failure of the previous WordPress-based site forced a move to a Wiki format on THE-MOON WIKI site.
LPOD features both earth-based and space images of the Moon commented by lunar and planetary scientist Chuck Wood. The combination of images and descriptions provides useful introductory information and insight on lunar geology.
