My wife has just brought me a beer, whilst I had an image of Deimos on screen from the Viking era, and said: "Don't you get bored of pictures of moodily-lit potatoes?"
I wonder if any other UMSF members share a MAC/PC with a partner who doesn't 100% share their love of all things space-related?

My husband works in corporate finance, but he has a great interest in astronomy, physics, and Earth science. He's read Feynman's Six Easy Pieces, among other similar books, and is now looking for something a little more challenging! He also comes with me to space-related lectures in the area. Of course, that's also considered supporting my career, since I work in a planetarium and a lot of the lectures are work-sponsored.

It's fun to come home and talk to him about the latest space discoveries. I wish I could reciprocate, but any time he starts talking about work, I just zone out.....
