This ESO movie shows the location of Sagittarius A and includes time lapse images of stars orbiting the Milky Way's central black hole as observed in the near-infrared with the NACO on ESO's Very Large Telescope. By observing the motions of the central stars over 16 years, astronomers deduced the mass of the black hole at 4 million times that of our Sun.
