M3 - Moon Mineralogy Mapper |

I thought that the M3, Moon Mineralogy Mapper, should have its own thread. Its name harkens back to the MinMap instrument that was to be on the proposed Lunar Scout 2 mission of the 1990's. The proposal for that imaging spectrometer also came from Brown University. It's a good example of persistence.
