Mud volcanos and methane, LPSC paper |

The BBC reports on an LPSC presentation by Carlton Allen and Dorothy Oehler interpreting dome features in Acidalia Planitia as mud volcanos. On Earth such features are often methane sources, apparently. I wonder how mud flows when the water content's frozen solid and sublimes when it nears the surface?
