Scheduled to go on a Delta II @ 1138 PDT, 1838 GMT from VAFB. Stream from ULA here.
*Suggestion: Should there be a dedicated launch coverage thread? Much hardware going up lately (mostly commercial), but everybody still loves the show. -------------------- A few will take this knowledge and use this power of a dream realized as a force for change, an impetus for further discovery to make less ancient dreams real.

*Suggestion: Should there be a dedicated launch coverage thread? Uncanny -- that's *exactly* what I logged in to say (prompted by the same launch.) I guess it's that spaceflightnow.com's coverage that leads to watching more launches. Edit: speaking for myself only, of course; I'd have missed a lot of recent launches if I hadn't noticed them coming up on that site. Not untypically, Arianespace has an email alert system which manages to be less than perfectly helpful in catching A5 launches... unless it's just me of course *) -------------------- --

Spacecraft separation. Looks like a perfectly nominal flight, another one in a row for the ULA team. Congrats to all involved.
