Wonder if Mars is similar to Earth in that the wind is always stronger at the top of hills and mountains than at their base or along their sides. Maybe this is the best argument of all to compell the rover drivers to get Spirit quickly to the top of Husband Hill where the chances of a good wind gust to clean off it's dirty solar panels might be a bit higher. I'm still of the impression that the bouncing of the rover over rocks, especially when inclined as in climbing a hill, increases the chance of dust being knocked off of its panels as well. I'm always nervous when the darned thing is sitting too long in one place.
