Are there any UMSFers with advice for someone moving from the UK to Brisbane, Australia?

Vegemite and banana!!! Brellis you evil dude.
Now, as for vegemite and tomato SFJCody...no one in Australia actually thinks that anywhere is a long way from anywhere. Distance, hah, that means nothing to we Aussies You should send us to Mars, it looks like the outback anyway (except for the lack of kangaroos My advice, for anyone considering coming to live in Australia...YES, DO IT! All UMSF'ers have a standing invitation to come and visit me in Canberra and take my DSN 50cent tour. Brisbane is a slightly more 'relaxed' lifestyle. I'd put it in the same category as Florida or Brighton |

My advice, for anyone considering coming to live in Australia...YES, DO IT! All UMSF'ers have a standing invitation to come and visit me in Canberra and take my DSN 50cent tour. If I'm ever near Canberra I will definitely take you up on that! I've decided to leave a little telepresence rover behind in the UK. From next month onwards (volcano permitting), this will be my representative in the northern hemisphere. This is surely what mankind has dreamt of since time immemorial, the ability to startle a pet dog from a distance of over 10,000 miles! |
