Good afternoon, this is Byron Jones with the Flight Director report for the Mars Exploration Rovers. It’s Friday January 28th.

And on Spirit we’re just finishing up a campaign on ‘Peace’ and have done a bump back to take some last minute PanCams of it and then we’ll be moving on to a new target called ‘Alligator’ over the weekend.

On Opportunity we set a new driving-distance record yestersol and got a 154 meters. We’re also trying something for the first time this week. We’re doing back to back long drives. Heading south, we’re crater-hopping and the day after the 154 drive we’re gonna attempt another drive and hope to get about the same distance.

And that’s it for the Flight Director report today. Have a good day.
