I read somewhere that optical effects around the sun - solar haloes, "sun dogs", circumzenithal arcs, etc - will be visible on Mars. I think it was a SKY & TEL article, and it was referred to back in the Phoenix days when we were all hoping for colour views of the sunset, etc...
