Good morning, I’m Byron Jones with the Flight Director report for the Mars Exploration Rovers on Thursday February 3rd.

On Spirit, they’re just finishing up a campaign with doing some work on a target called ‘Alligator’. They did some RAT-brushing mosaics there and now they’re going to continue their trek up the ridge to the Rover Planner's lookout. They hope to get about 10 meters in the next sol and hope to be in the lookout some time this weekend.

On the other side of Mars, Opportunity has just finished up some long drives and they’re kinda out in the middle of the plains right now heading south. They just dug a trench a few inches deep yestersol and they’re gonna spend the weekend examining what’s in there.

And that’s the Flight Director report for today. Have a good day.
