Re "young": Well, yeah, but AFAIK this is the first time that we've witnessed the birth & much of the immediate post-creation history of a black hole (during which presumably it reaches an equilibrium state with its surrounding environment that lasts for eons afterward), so from that viewpoint it's an important set of observations.
