Hello all -
I've been a lurker here for a few years ... I will be in Los Angeles in late June. Last time I was there about 7-8 years ago, I drove over to JPL (unplanned, really) and discovered that it doesn't really have a visitors center like the other NASA facilities, and so was turned away at the gate. OK, I'll plan ahead next time So, this time I find that they do have visitors days, but they seem to be rather infrequent. The next one I see on the schedule is July 6th, when I sadly will not be there. Am I reading the JPL website properly? Is there a group tour happening during the June 21-24 window that I might tag along on, perhaps via donation to a charity of that groups' choice? - Chris |

I went back to JPL a couple years ago, and they have added a very small gift shop in the visitor's entrance building. You might be able to go there and get into the gift shop. It isn't much, but maybe the info office can tell you if its possible.
