I thought it was time to start a new topic on NASA's next Moon mission
incidentally, there is a new mission update out today -------------------- I'm one of the most durable and fervent advocates of space exploration, but my take is that we could do it robotically at far less cost and far greater quantity and quality of results.

LADEE launch is now expected in August 2013 http://msdb.gsfc.nasa.gov/change_log.php
so who will launch first? LADEE or Chang'e 3? -------------------- I'm one of the most durable and fervent advocates of space exploration, but my take is that we could do it robotically at far less cost and far greater quantity and quality of results.

I thought Chang'E 3 was scheduled for October.

I only saw it mentioned as "second half" of 2013
