Hello, this is Beth Dewell for the Mars Exploration Rover Flight Director report for Friday February 25th 2005.
On Spirit today is sol 409 at the beginning of the morning. On sol 408 we planned to look over the apex of ‘Tennessee Valley’, however due to a DSN transmitter problem we’re repeating that sol on 409. On sol 410 and 411 we’ll be completing sol one and two of a four sol plan for a panorama of this valley region. On the other side of the planet on Opportunity, it’s currently sol 388 in the middle of the day. We’re approaching ‘Vostok’ crater and we’re stopping for this weekend to explore a triplet crater. We’re bumping towards an IDD target and then performing remote sensing on the small craters we’re on top of. And that’s what’s happening on Mars today. |
