Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Dr John Spencer - a UMSF member - who came to Kendal last night to give my astronomical society, the Eddington AS of Kendal, an absolutely fantastic talk on the CASSINI mission. It was a great turnout - 50 people or so - and for over an hour John kept everyone enthralled with beautiful pictures, descriptions of Cassini's most important discoveries, and more. Afterwards many people told me what a brilliant night they'd had, so I just wanted to thank John for coming to see us again. He was also very generous with his time afterwards, answering many questions and even talking to a local radio reporter (who is still beaming from ear to ear this morning!).
Thanks John! -------------------- |
