Actionman, I did not invent color. Color pictures taken from the Mast camera. I would not want to speculate about types of stone. NASA zap the 'Stonehenge', so I suggest to wait for the release.

Here is my take on a Glenelg panorama from Sol 64. I realize that the data for the nearly full 360 degrees is available now, but at the time I stitched this together, this is all that was available.

Zelenyikot, very nice work. I really like the Chemcam images with Mastcam colour. That was an excellent idea.

Thanks for the coloured chemcam shots.
I don't think there's any real stereo in your chemcam anaglyph - the rover would need to move between the frames to get a different viewpoint. There are differences between the two frames, but I think they're just due to the moving shadows and to differing optical distortions across the field of view (since the pointing has changed between the frames). In principle the viewpoint does change a bit as you change the pointing, but chemcam is pretty close to on the RSM axis, so the effect should be very small. |

Nice shadow reduction Zelenyikot - a part I somewhat failed on
Imprint of the APXS - sol 88: I wonder if they did aim for the bright particle which looks like mica? |

Sol 90 thumbnails show the SAM inlet ports. I really, really hope this means they're ready to deliver that first soil sample to SAM...
(Yes, even I am getting impatient!) I wonder if one aspect of this is going to be representative of the rest of the mission: that if they decide a site is worth SAMming, we should settle down for a long wait of several weeks or even a month. -------------------- My website - My Patreon - @elakdawalla on Twitter - Please support unmannedspaceflight.com by donating here.

I was under the impression from a previous teleconference that the first one will take so long because it is the first, and that future analyses will go faster.
