I've admired the work many have done here (and elsewhere) in producing accurate color images from the MER's pancam RAD data.

What I am hoping for is some guidance on how to combine L2-L7 Filters properly. I am familiar with how to produce the absolute radiance values from the RAD files [offset + (scaeling*pixel_value)]. But I am still fuzzy on how to properly interepolate between the filters.

Even from my question it is probably evident that I have a lot to learn. I want to learn. I have no programing skills but I do know how to use several image processing software packages (Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, ImageJ, HDRShop V1.0).
