Hi Folks,

I've spent the last few nights assembling the panorama shot over Sol 410-414.

The set of False Colors spat out by MMB were almost entirely 256s. But that's enough color for me to get excited over.

Here is a preview 1024x768 Desktop:

and there's a 12345 pixel wide jpg of the image to here. It's 24MB

The PSD with all layers intact is 600MB - and the 12345 pixel version with layers still active is 160MB. I can upload the smaller one, but the rollout of the layers is very messy.

I haven't time to fully knit all of these panels together and there are some interesting skews to get it half decent.

Doug and other's will surely do a better job in time, but for a sneak preview this is the raw starting point.

Other than the raw NASA data this was very much a product of MMB with all color images autogenerated by MMB and then only color adjusted by me in photoshop in a few cases. This is my first full size color panorama, and I really hope there's another one in the database soon enough.

Cheers,
Simon
