We can see the recent back and forth drives climbing southward just beyond the top of the valley, using official mosaics between Sols 3799 and 3805.

The lighting in Jan's panorama is very bad - not his fault! I took the liberty of patching it in a couple of places with different images to fix some of the worst-affected areas. This is a circular version of the result.
