The effect is the opposite as on Earth. Think about it. When the sun sets, the sky around the sun is red; otherwise it's blue. Similarly, whe the sun is high in the sky, it looks yellow, even though given its black body curve it's more greenish. On Earth, if you look 90 degrees away from the sun, you'll notice the deepest blue of anywhere in the sky. Nice work on the sky color pic, Doug. I've wanted to see something like that for a while.
