![]() Full Res It shows some strange forms that were also seen long ago at the Gusev site, without comment from JPL. Anyway, the above image is in the infrared. Check out the same image in the blue (L7): ![]() Full Res The "filling" is positively radiant at the shorter wavelengths, so rare on Mars. However, these photos were taken last week. Why are they spending time looking at boring basalt (Humphrey)? An attempt to colorize this sequence of images leads to strange results. I would be interested if anyone else has better luck.
