Good morning, I’m Byron Jones and this is the Flight Director Report for Tuesday July 26th.
On Spirit it’s sol 555 today and she’s planning a little bump back from a science outcrop that she’s spent the weekend doing some remote sensing. And she’s just bumping a few meters to another science outcrop where they’ll be doing some more work with the robotic arm for the next few sols.
On the other side of Mars it’s sol 535 for Opportunity and she just finished about a 30 meter drive over the weekend and is planning another 30 or so meter drive for tomorrow. After that drive completes she should be about 150 meters away from her new target Erebus crater.
Well, that’s it for today. I’m Byron Jones. Thanks for tuning in and that’s what’s happening on Mars today.
