Hello, this is the Flight Director’s report for Mars Exploration Rover. It is June 28th, sol 173 on Spirit, sol 152 on Opportunity. My name is Scott Doudrick.

Today on Spirit we are finishing up Mossbauer spectrometer observations of ‘Pot of Gold’. We’ve spent quite a bit of time here really doing a good job of understanding the origins of this rock and we’re just about to finish up and drive back and do some final remote sensing.

On Opportunity we are currently in Band E of Endurance crater, it’s about six meters in. We are doing more Rock Abrasion Tool and Microscopic Imager work and then doing both Mossbauer and APXS work on ‘Cobble stone’ which is the particular region in Band E.

We will be back again tomorrow with the Flight Director’s report, thank you.
