I booked a trip for spring 2010 to stay in Villa Marineris, along with a chartered Mars rover ride, Olympus Mons hike, and Mars history tour. Good after graduation present, right?

The Colbert Hotel & Casino from $99 The free-standing Colbert Hotel & Casino is space’s first orbital hotel—and home to the universe’s best cocktails. Bet on utter indulgence with eight restaurants, five hovering pools, high-stakes tables, and even a spa. Optional excursions throughout Mars make for an unforgettable vacation.

I especially liked the "Chartered Mars Rover Rides". BTW I did live in Jupiter, FL way before even thinking to apply for a position at JPL.

This is probably my favorite April Fool's joke ever!
I am a fan of "no frills" airlines, but if I had to pay for snacks for a full trip to Mars that is going to cost a lot!

Speaking of April 1, today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is pretty good. I could use me one of them upgrades. Although, I would probably request Mahjong solitaire, not Tetris.
