Just saw this. Impressive use of CGI to show Earth's surface beneath the ocean. (Good geological expanations, too.)

I was struck by one of the CGI animation color schemes that made Earth (to my eye) look like Enceladus.

Played with the latest image of Enceladus and Google Earth....

Converted a Google Earth (Ocean) image into grayscale, reoriented, rescaled, and applied a few contrast gradients and Presto!

(The Aleutian trench is at center in the image (along the terminator). Earth's north pole is at 9 o'clock. Earth's Surveyor Fracture zone lines up with some of the cracks on Enceleadus at upper right.)
