Any recommendations on some good science/space themed podcasts? The only one I listen to at the moment is the Science@NASA podcast, although it doesn't seem to work in iTunes anymore.

Planetary Radio is a must. I used to listen to the 365 Days of Astronomy podcast, but the music drove me to the edge of madness. The Jodcast can be good - but much of the content would be better suited as reading, not listening material.

Google "The Space Show" then go through the archives, some absolutely excellent interviews there.

I gotta agree, its a bit long especially as its played top and tails, but knowing that it was written by George Hrab makes it a bit better

Planetary Radio and 365 days are both great, but I also love Dr Karl's science podcasts, Astronomy Cast, Are we Alone by SETI, and all the NASA ones.

If the 365 days music drives you batty, they have a weekly version of the podcast, 7 shows run together, no music in the middle.

Then there's Astronomy Cast, that's a must-listen. I also like NPR- Science Friday and Scientific America. A few lesser-known include SkyWatch and 60-second science as well. And if you're into technology, there's tons of them...

I must say, Planetary Radio's probably my favorite.
