Hi,

I hesitate a bit to do this post. Hope it's not too OT…

So, I have 130 mm telescope, 900 mm focal lenght, on a Sky View Pro mount (EQ5 type). Here a picture of installation, this 30th January.

I use a Phillips Toucam Pro2, in raw mode (optimised color), in ocular projection. Acqusition with Macam, and processing with Keith's Image Stacker and Gimp.

The pic of this 30th January (1250 images stacked, 10 mm eyepiece).

And this 8th February, way better. 1200 images, and 6.5 mm eyepiece.

With names smile.gif

It will be very hard to see Endeavour biggrin.gif.

I will made update when new pics wink.gif.

And if you have pictures of this opposition, you can post here smile.gif.

That's lovely! Thanks for posting them.

I'm still grabbing clear nights to collimate and sort out my "Christmas" 'scope (of similar dimensions) and my current Mars photographs are not fit for public consumption. mad.gif

Andy, popping out shortly for a go at Saturn...

Beautiful images, Ant!

Guilt, guilt...my Celestron NexStar 8 has been sitting, shamefully neglected, for so long now. I really do have to get less lazy & take her out for a spin or two...miss the sheer thrill of seeing the planets in real time (less speed of light lag, of course.)
