We could not resist to go for ski, like many of the inhabitants (because the quality of the snow at Val Thorens is such great : it's one of the best in the world for skiing, as if you were sking on velvet)...
But -like many- we came back after an hour or so to our home because of winds gusts that made us unable to withstand such temp conditions : -20°C with wind gusts effect at the top of some skilifts arrival areas.

...And, as a bonus pic, the panorama taken a few days before from Cime Caron (3,230m alt above sea level) : Mont-Blanc (4,807 m alt, the highest peak in Europe) is seen as a distant mountain on the horizon just above the Val Thorens ski resort in the middle of the panorama. Enjoy also !
