Well - the update was pushed and pushed to Nov 27th....today is the first day at which the date is later than the published data release date.....but I still see nothing new.

With MGS dead, maybe they want to release the remaining images all in one go.

I'm wondering if there may have been a workforce reduction at Malin Space Systems when the latest MGS mission extension was funded. It's not all that unusual to reduce funding for a new mission extension, ostensibly because of operating efficiencies developed during previous mission extensions. Just a guess, though. It would have been unrelated to the probable loss of MGS.
I also noticed that there have been no new MRO context camera (also MSSS) images released since October 16. |
