That's the sun and a hot pixel - that frame was taken around 09:38 local time. We have been imaging the moons recently - here's a shot of Phobos from later that same sol:

We can see the motion with some new forward progress southward up the valley during recent drives, using official mosaics from Sols 3730 and 3744.

Longer drive animation with a combination of official and Jan's mosaics from Sol 3435 to the present.

Thanks for the recent gigapans, Neville.

The dust-filled cracks between the slabs are apparently bordered by chains of the smaller pebbles that lie on the fractured slabs. I'm trying to think of a mechanism that produces this sorting. With Marsquakes and impact shocks over millenia, are these pebbles pushed out of the cracks, or vibrated across the surface of the slabs? (Like Chladni Plates).

Another possible mechanism might be wind erosion enlarging the cracks along their borders, leaving linear lag deposits of pebbles.
