I was checking our steady progress towards the Sulfate unit and wondering if they would choose to drill / sample this transition zone between the clay unit and sulfate deposits or wait until they are on the region of stronger sulfate signatures. I got to thinking about the rover's drill bit. I was wondering if they need an operational drill feed motor to change over to a spare bit. Not that it looks like it needs changing any time soon, but I've never come across any detailed documentation of the process, can anyone point me in the right direction?

BTW: Nice job processing that RMI mosaic of the hill 'charborob', I tried but your version outshines mine....

Here's a merge using Jan's MastCam view to colorize the sweet RMI mosaic by charborob.

Thanks both for making the nice mosaics. My alignment's not perfect and I had to re-learn how to do some of the steps, but it's a view that I think is worth it.
