Toma B, your images are amazing. What a great place this is.

Here is Jan's panorama for sol 3156 in circular form. We can now look back over the Sands of Forvie which we originally saw from the other side. Vera Rubin Ridge is now completely hidden by the intervening terrain.

The Navcam R view on Sol 3158-3159.

This is another great image! Curiosity's path is really inclined and she's climbing fast.
This is a feeling I can't get from the Google Mars path despite having the vertical exageration turned on to the maximum.
I am so grateful to you and all the other image wizards who really "take us there".

My version of the scenic panorama taken on sol 3154 with MastCam-Left, at 1:50 pm martian local time.

You can explore it in VR on this website.

Here are some crops of the panorama, showing Rafael Navarro Mountain, mounds and the Sands of Forvie.

Sol 3161 R-NavCam Partial pan, roughly assembled in MS-ICE, hope that it might assist in establishing the the end of drive location? If not just enjoy the rugged scenery smile.gif

Here is Jan's new panorama in circular form. This view showed me my estimated location for this sol was not correct.

Jan's panorama for sol 3163 in circular form - we just had a short drive uphill and to the west, scrambling up over the ridge.

The distant crater rims north of Gale are showing up better than ever - a Mastcam view will be interesting.

This is a sol 3154 Mastcam image of the hills I was talking about - a crater rim north of Gale, which we identified long ago but is now seen more clearly - it really needs the PDS version of the image to do it justice, this 'raw' is not good. A properly exposed image would show a lot of detail.
